England Brilliant Batting Performance
Australia Winning the toss and opt to bowl first Phil Salt and Ben Duckett came along with him and together they made a partnership of 48 runs in 58 balls and then Phil Salt got out after making 22 runs and England lost first wicket at 48-1. Ben Duckett played a brilliant innings of 63 runs included 6 fours and 1 six. Duckett made a brilliant partnership of 79 runs with Harry Brook and then Duckett’s wicket fell and England’s score was 150-3.
Jameis Smith came in at number 5, then Harry Brook was looking in good form, both of them together made a partnership of 75 runs, with the help of this partnership, England’s score became 225-4 in 30.2 overs. This match was already reduced to 39 overs due to rain. Harry Brook was caught out on the bowl of Zampa, later Livingstone and Jacob Bethell along with him made a brilliant partnership of 71 runs, that too in just 42 bowls, Livingstone took 28 runs in the last over of Mitchell Starc, this included three sixes and two fours, due to which England made 312-5 in 39 overs.
