Josh Butler has been ruled out for the T20I series against Australia. The series will begin on 11th September in which 3 T20I and 5 ODI matches will be played.
In which the first T20 match will be played on 11 September at Southampton Cricket Ground in England and the 2nd T20I will be played at Cardiff Ground in England and the 3rd T20I will be played at Manchester Cricket Ground.
England’s white ball captain Josh Butler has been ruled out of the Vitality T20I series against Australia. He will not be a part of this series due to a right calf injury. And due to this injury, there is a doubt in the Metro Bank ODIs to be played this month as well whether he will play or not.
In his place, Surrey all-rounder Jamie Overton has been added to the T20I squad. The three-match T20I series is going to start on 11 September 2024 at Southampton Cricket Ground in England.
In the ODI series which is starting from 19 September 2024, As Per Reports Essex Batter Jordan Cox can join the ODI squad in place of Josh Butler If Butler Not Available. This ODI series will consist of 5 matches which will start on 19 September.
Josh Butler missed the entire season of The Hundred due to a calf injury. This month, the Hundred tournament, which is played every year by England Cricket, did not play the entire season. Josh Butler plays for the Manchester Original Men’s team of The Hundred. When Butler was not going to play The Hundred, Phil Salt was made the captain of the team in his place.
Josh Butler will not be able to play the series due to injury, a new player will be appointed in his place and he is also the captain of the England team, so someone else will have to handle the captaincy as well, in which the name of Phil Salt has been heard that Phil Salt will be the captain in this series.
